Accommodation Department was initiated at King Abdulaziz university as per resolution issued by the Chancellor No. 2245/5 on 24/8/1395 H. as an independent department to carry out university policy laid down by the University in order to provide housing for staff as well as to provide housing services after being expanded & secured more housing facilities as the result of development & expansion of university accommodation that has recently taken place side by side with the general development of the university for the last years . It was obvious that there was some development and change in the housing rules & in the light of that development, the Housing Draft Project was issued & approved by the University Council so that they can solve any potential & crucial crises which might face the residents in immediate or distant future .
