Committee's Accomplishments :

Pursuant to the stipulation of the Supervisory Committee Formation Resolution of Teaching Staff Accommodation, including reviewing the current University Teaching Staff Accommodation Regulations, formulating development proposals that go in line with the latest developments according to the applicable Regulations and setting standards of the Teaching Staff Accommodation distribution, the Committee began forming a staff (sub-committee) concerned with formulating Regulations of Teaching Staff Accommodation in King Abdulaziz University, that is presided over by Prof. Osama bin Ahmed Abu Alnaga. That Committee has revised University Housing previous Regulations, made field visits to a number of universities in the Kingdom, reviewed Housing and applicable Regulations in these universities and submitted the Regulations draft to the Accommodation Supervisory Committee, which in turn submitted it to H.E. Vice-President of the University for projects;

 Housing Regulations Review Workshop

The Teaching Staff Accommodation Supervisory Committee held a meeting at King Faisal University for Conferences Hall, with an elite of administratively experienced professors of King Abdul Aziz University to review the Housing Regulations. In the light of their recommendations, a linguistic editor will edit and revise the Regulations and it will be submitted to the University Legal Administration;

After passing by all previous stages, the Regulations will be ready for submission to the honorable University Council for approval.

Meeting with an elite of Teaching Staff to take up their suggestions and comments on the new Housing Project – Villas

The Housing Supervisory Committee held a meeting with a number of their Excellences, male and female University Teaching Staff, Who have volunteered to draw their comments and views on the new Housing Project – villas, in the meeting hall, ground floor, of University Body for Projects. The Committee monitored 60 comments, which implementation shall be followed up by the University Body for Projects. These comments have been approved in the third subject of the Housing Supervisory Committee’s second meeting minutes on 2/4/1435 AH

Many Field Visits to the New Housing Project – Villas

The staff (sub-committee), responsible for new housing requirements, in coordination with Project Management made many field visits to follow up the implementation of the comments approved by the Supervisory Committee and monitor any other comment could be avoided at the lowest costs without being applied to the rest of the project. The Housing Supervisory Committee made many field visits to follow up these comments. Some of these visits were attended and supervised by H.E. Vice-President of the University for Projects and General Supervisor of Project Management. These visits were fruitful. Many comments, fulfilling University Teaching Staff wish and meet their ambitious, were modified and avoided.

Meeting of the Supervisory Committee with the University Teaching Staff to present the Committee

The University Housing Supervisory Committee held, at Al-Shaimaa Hall on Wednesday, 20/8/1435 AH, its first meeting with the University Teaching Staff to present its accomplishments during the last periods as of the date of its Formation Resolution dated 12/2/1435 AH until the meeting date and its aspirations in accordance with the tasks specified in the Formation Resolution. The Committee listened to an elite of University Teaching Staff living in the Accommodation to be illuminated by their views. It listened to opinions of University Teaching Staff who are on the waiting list aiming at achieving amenities to University Teaching Staff in the new Housing Project and avoiding number of comments through previous experiences in the current Housing Complex.

Eid Festival

Under the sponsorship of H.E. President of the University, Allah save him, and direct supervision of H.E. Vice-President of the University for Projects, the Supervisory Committee held Eid Festival for University Teaching Staff of in Housing Complex No. 6 for their Excellences and their families on Wednesday, dated 6/10/1435 AH. It included many entertaining programs for the children and cultural competitions lasted for two days, during which Eid presents and prizes were distributed.

Social Events

The Sub-Committee responsible for housing services, under direct supervision of the Supervisory Committee, held many social events and barbecue parties in Housing Complex No. 6 in the presence of a group of the Teaching Staff and their children. It aims at strengthening the social bonds and ties in a family environment and peaceful atmosphere of love and solidarity, tied with intimate neighborhood relations;
